I don’t know about you, but I am so happy to be marching forward into Spring. The daffodils and crocuses are already popping their heads up outside to greet the sun. And it was still light out tonight, at 6 pm. Spring is coming!
Perhaps Spring is weighing so heavily on my mind because my novel, Spring in Summerland, Season of the Witch Book 2, is in with the editor. To tell you the truth, I’ve enjoyed this past month because I was able to work on two other WIPs (including Season of the Witch Book 3!) and it’s been nice to just let it go in the trusted hands of my editor. I’ve also caught up on some reading:

I’ve also joined the Alliance of Young Adult Authors, a writing support group created by Derek Murphy for writers of YA. I belong to many online writing groups, but I have to say AAYAA has been the most useful so far in terms of the support it offers. If you are looking for cover, blurb, or website feedback, writing motivation, tips on how to build your author platform, and you are a YA author, I urge you to check out this group!
Yesterday, Bellatrix Press celebrated the release of Rise of the Deva’shi, Chronicles of Parthalan III, by Author Jennifer Allis Provost! If you like epic fantasy romance, magic, and adventure, I highly recommend this series! New to the series? You can catch up by purchasing Heir to the Sun, and The Virgin Queen for only 99 pennies each!
Also, more rave reviews have come in for Winter’s Curse, Season of the Witch Book 1!
My goal for March is to polish up Spring in Summerland (after edits) and have it turned in to Bellatrix Press by April for ebook and print formatting. We are currently looking at a May publication. Exciting!
Please consider adding Spring in Summerland to your Goodreads TBR List
Thanks for stopping by!
